Social Media Simulation

This has been my favorite assignment throughout my 3 years of college. The simulation has been great and very fun. I truly did learn a lot about reading through the analytically side of the these social media platforms. Plus the information about posting time frames and things of that nature were super helpful. 

I think the part that would could be improved is maybe if you were allowed to pick a company or industry you would like to promote. I could see them doing cool things with having a multiply choice type of simulation. I could imagine going into the simulation and choosing to run a sports apparel social media. Maybe even do a restaurants social media. The reason why I say it is social media will look different among every industry the platforms which they use are different. Sport industry will use Twitter and Instagram more. While food may use Pintrest and Facebook more. This would give students more of an in depth look at social media in there preferred field. It would take a little more work on the side of Stukent to get it up and running. Overall I think it be worth the effort and give students a slight bit more freedom.
