TikTok

Tiktok is an amazing social media platform. One of the fastest growing the internet has ever seen. I love Tiktok for entertainment purposes but I also use it for business. Here in the ONU esports program we recently got on Tiktok and we have seen numbers quickly. 

The reason we start using the app is actually because of a giveaway of another company that is big within esports. We had to use their product and make videos with while also tagging them. For ever 100 view you get 5$ and the product cost a total of around 40$. So about 2000 views we would see a break even. Not only was that big marketing for the company but also us. With ONU tagging the company anybody that would search them up would see our videos which is huge for us. 

We planned on starting a Tiktok anyways this was just a little boost in our plans. We want to show more people here on campus what we do as a program. Tiktok is a good way to show off all the amazing clips our players hit while in practice or in game. It also gives the workers a chance to sharpen their craft of editing allowing them to edit the videos however they see fit. So it becomes a win win for both workers and the program. Not to mention the players that made the clips are typically tagged so they also get some publicity within the community.
