E-sports catch up

 Esports recap so far

Now, I know its been about two weeks since we have gotten an update on esports. I am truly sorry about that there was a lot going on but we are back and at the end of many of our seasons. So pretty much for the rest of the year we will be mostly discussing playoffs for the esports team. Lets dive into the deep end.

Valorant

Valorant junior varsity is still going strong with both NACE and GGL. Playoffs are fast approaching for both the team is on track to be competing in both with a record of 4-3 in the GGL. They start their playoff run in GGL this week. In NACE the team also went 4-3 and have already played through one round of their playoffs beating Lehigh university two to zero. 

Rocket League

Rocket league is in the same place as Valorant were they have completed their regular season and are starting their playoff runs. Varsity finished 10-5 in GLEC and will be traveling for their playoffs within the next week or two. They also finished 4-3 in NACE sadly not making playoffs. However the junior varsity squad has made playoffs an are currently one game deep in the league. They are also 7-1 in the ECAC league so we wish them luck through the playoffs going forward. 

Overwatch 

Overwatch varsity is just like our Rocket league varsity squad they will be traveling to Columbus to compete in GLEC within the next two weeks. They made ECAC playoffs but they are up against one of the best teams in the nation in the first round so wish them luck. For junior varsity they sadly did not make it to the playoffs. 

League of Legends

League of legends has made the ECAC playoffs that begin this week. Along with the GGL playoffs they finished GGL with a 5-2 record and ECAC with a 4-2 record. Varsity is finished with there season and will be looking into their next season.
