 Week 6 of Esports action

Valorant

ONU Varsity made a trip out to Northwest Purdue this weekend to compete in another MEC lan event. Looking to take first place and show the region why they are one of the best teams in the Great Lake region. They took the tourney by storm destroying every team at the event which led them to the grand finals against NW Purdue. Where NWP would take the sketchy victory but with high suspension that the NWP team was cheating by allowing other to play on their accounts. ONU will have another chance to in a best of 5 this Thursday. 

Overwatch

Overwatch would compete in their routine matches for ABC league. Where they would lose the first match in a tough 0-2 defeat. ONU would go into their second match and dominate their opponent 2-0. To brighten their day as they moved 4-2 in the league ranking. 

Rocket League 

Rocket League would be viewed on stream after being away for a week. Where they would win their NACE match up in  3-0 victory. They would also compete in GLEC after a short break due to reschedules beating Baldwin 3-0. The wins will move them to five and four in GLEC and three and two in NACE. They would also travel to Purdue playing all of 6 of the Purdue teams winning against all but one finishing in 2nd place in the tournament. 

League of Legends

Would also travel to Purdue where they competed for the MEC league. They would leave the LAN one and one on the weekend. While at home JV put up a good fight but eventually fell short to James Madison university.
