Twitter was made to be a blogging website for people to share ideas and blog about their lives. Just as a scale down blog. With the charters limit not allowing for super long tweets. This keeps ideas condensed down allow them to grasp the audience in a few words.
This leaves it up to the publisher to be concise. For companies twitter is a great place to interact with their customers. The company that has done it best so far is Wendy's the fast food chain. They garnered a lot of attention a year ago with Twitter. The company started to tweet as if it was a personal account allowing customers to ask questions and they would respond with a very answer. This gained a lot of attention to where even other companies started to interact with the random Wendy's account. To be honest some of the things defiantly could have cause so PR troubles but the account was at the time seen as funny. Working heavily in Wendy's favor as their responses were being re posted across all social media sites. Overall, it was a huge success wither it was a planned out strategy from the company or the account was just simply in the wrong hands.
