SnapChat

    Snapchat is one of the weirder social media platforms as it is completely based around photos. I look at the platform as more of a messaging app rather than a social media platform. 

 I do see its benefits to companies and organizations. The app has a strong audience that most companies take advantage of. Majority of users are between 18-30 creating a great audience that is either just coming into the work force or have been in for a while. The reason this is important is because it means some form of income. The question then becomes why are people using the app. As I said I use it almost purely as a messaging app. Many use the app to capture moments with a quick snap that end up saving your memories within the app. So, many users are using the app during events or even when hanging with their friends. One amazing feature that I like about the app is they will bring up old memories on the date it was taken. So if I took a snap of this blog next year on April 29th it will pop up. That is amazing to me cause I never truly remember were I was last year unless I sit down and think about it. It is defiantly refreshing, I would say that Snapchat is by far my favorite social media app.
