Back from break
Esports break
Esports had a break in their season along with the rest of the school as it was spring break. Some teams had matches that they unfortunately had to forfeit. League of Legends had to forfeit their entire playoffs for the MEC conference due to multiply players not being able to be near a computer. Overwatch also had to forfeit a few matches. Rocket League was able to reschedule head of time and Valorant was stuck playing matches with substitute players losing both of the matches over the break.
While our teams may not have had the best break the program overall has made major jumps. With big things about to take place. ONU esports is starting a podcast to shine light on the program and the students within. Part of the cast will be aired on WONB the radio show for ONU. Were we will be giving the same run down I do on here just over the radio. You will be able to hear either myself or our wonderful host Justin Brown talking with directors, players, and hopefully more. The podcast will also be aired on our twitch channel to fill more content on Thursdays. The show will roughly air for about an hour we will be looking to have guest with in the industry come and talk about their experiences. This will hopefully show the behind the scenes of what we do on a day to day.
Be sure to go follow us on twitch.tv/onu_esports to keep up with the latest content. Also below is the games for the week be sure to catch some amazing games. Stay tuned for more big news soon.
