 Use of Facebook 

    Facebook is a massive social media platform that majority of the world uses. Even if the younger generation considers it an "old people" app. There is still no doubt that Facebook is consider in the top three of all social media platforms. Facebook still has over 266 million active users in their last quarter of 2022 according to statista.(https://www.statista.com/statistics/247614/number-of-monthly-active-facebook-users-worldwide/)  

    Those are large numbers for the app to be considered an "old people app". However that is not true in fact majority of the users of Facebook come in between the ages of 18 to 54 years old. (https://www.statista.com/statistics/187549/facebook-distribution-of-users-age-group-usa/) The lowest percentage of users in that data are the in between the ages of 13 to 17 years old. This also happens to be the group to say the app is for old people.  Even with this information most companies are not targeting that young audience its typically the 18+ audience that companies are after. Which makes Facebook a perfect place to advertise their product or services. Not to mention the wonderful use of all the fancy analytic that Facebook offers to business. That tells the company how much interaction they get with each post. If people are clicking on links they post, of course likes, and comments. The most important thing is probably how many people view the post. The reason for this is so you can see the difference between views and interaction off the intentionally posting. This helps companies determine if the marketing campaign is working or not. So, Facebook for sure is a top place to go for all business because the company can still reach its target audience while at the same time reach every audience. Even with their not being many young people on the app.
